Meet the new Hemp Linen colours inspired by nature

While many of us welcome the warm(er) weather with open arms, some of us are still stuck in winter's hibernation mode.

Our cosy beds have been a sanctuary for the last few months while we indulge in Netflix and the occasional (nightly) hot chocolate.

But with the new season comes the need to shed layers — both figuratively and literally.

To help freshen up your space ready for spring, we’ve introduced the three most requested colours to our best-selling Hemp Linen range — Mustard, Olive and Terracotta. These new colours tie in perfectly with our base colour range allowing you to mix and match (we’re slightly obsessed with the Olive and Oat combo) so you can create the bedroom vibe of your dreams.

For those of you not familiar with Hemp Linen, allow us to break down the long list of benefits for you.

Why choose Hemp Linen sheets?

Hemp Linen Sheets last longer, are better for the planet and are more breathable than any other sheets. But we can't take credit for these incredible features — it’s just naturally better bedding.

Durable and long-lasting

A durable plant creates a durable product as they say. Okay, no one said that to our knowledge but when it comes to hemp it’s definitely the case.

The hemp plant is resistant to most pests and requires zero pesticides or herbicides to grow, meaning it’s naturally organic.

Once woven into fabric, hemp remains durable and long-lasting with 8x the tensile strength and 4x the durability of cotton. If you want to invest in long-lasting bedding, Hemp Linen is a perfect choice.

Despite being one of the most durable natural fabrics, Hemp Linen offers luxurious softness due to the long fibres of the hemp plant. Plants with shorter fibres such as cotton tend to pill and become scratchy over time. Hemp Linen Sheets will soften with time and washing but never look worn.

Perfect for any season

Hemp Linen Sheets can't get you high, but you'll still feel like you're floating on a cloud with sheets woven to 165 gsm — the perfect balance for luxury and breathability.

Hemp Linen is thermoregulating so you’ll stay cool, but never cold — perfect for hot Aussie summers and cooler winters. They're also hypoallergenic and anti-bacterial making them the ideal choice for those with sensitive or acne-prone skin.

Mother Nature approved

While flax linen looks great, it's actually not the best choice for the environment. Hemp Linen has the same look and feel as flax, but uses 6x less land to grow the same amount of fibre.

And don't even get us started on the amount of water and chemicals needed to produce cotton or bamboo sheets. Hemp requires around 300 litres of water to produce 1 kg of dry hemp, while cotton can require up to 20,000 litres of water to produce 1 kg of cotton.

They look stylish

The incredible properties of hemp aside, this might be our favourite reason to invest — who doesn’t want to impress their snuggle buddy with bed sheets that look like they jumped off a Pinterest board?

Our Hemp Linen Sheets come in nature-inspired colours to suit any bedroom style, and our new colours — Terracotta, Mustard and Olive — are perfect for freshening up any bedroom for the warmer weather.

Plus, they look good even when you haven’t made the bed. We'll take relaxed, easy bedding any day!
